Kreative Kids was a project created by CityTeam Ministries in the early part of 2008.
The program began as a monthly craft project offered to children of any age, and their parents, free of charge.
Kreative Kids quickly caught the attention of the Hancock County Library System and the two joined forces for the Summer Reading Program to offer the community an educational experience combining art projects and a suggested book selection to go along with each.
In December of 2008, City Team left Hancock County, but its legacy was a viable outreach program that continues to grow.
In the future, Kreative Kids will provide the community with an Art Camp and Artrageous Kids Festival.
Keep your eyes open; you never know when you'll see a Kreative Kid.
